With the support of community leaders and volunteers, Step U(i)p Trust identifies women in need, particularly women-headed households, widows, and families traditionally engaged in burial services in rural villages.
Over the years, 460 women have been trained in micro-enterprise development and provided with financial assistance to start or expand small businesses and rear livestock.
This support has enhanced their self-confidence, decision-making abilities, and capacity to manage enterprises effectively. Income generated through these businesses has helped families meet daily needs and support their children's education.
