Our Approach
Building Strong Communities
Community engagement is at the heart of Step U(i)p Trust's work. We believe that sustainable change comes from within communities, and our role is to facilitate, support, and empower communities to lead their own transformation.
Over the past decade, we have reached some of the most remote and inaccessible tribal communities across India, including the Santhal community in West Bengal, Kodikalanl tribal, and Narikuravar communities.
Through community events, outreach programs, and support services, we work alongside community members to address their unique challenges and build stronger, more resilient communities.

Emergency Response
Supporting Communities in Crisis
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Step U(i)p Trust provided emergency assistance to 350 vulnerable families through food rations and cash support, helping them navigate severe economic hardship.
This emergency response demonstrated our commitment to standing with communities during their most challenging times, ensuring that basic needs are met when traditional support systems are disrupted.
